Welcome to RouteKatha. By using the RouteKatha mobile application ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
RouteKatha is a mobile application that helps electric vehicle owners log road trips, track charging stops, calculate ownership costs, and optionally share trip data with the RouteKatha community.
You must be at least 18 years old to use RouteKatha. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You can use RouteKatha anonymously, sign in with a phone number, or sign in with an email address. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
If you sign in with a phone number, you confirm that the number belongs to you. If you sign in with an email, you confirm the email address belongs to you.
You agree to use RouteKatha only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:
Your use of RouteKatha is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what data we collect and how we use it. By using the App, you agree to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
RouteKatha allows you to optionally share trip data with the community. When you choose to share a trip:
You retain ownership of any content you create. By sharing a trip with the community, you grant RouteKatha a non-exclusive licence to display that trip data within the App.
RouteKatha is a logging and tracking tool. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any data shown in the App, including data shared by other community members. Charging network availability, station status, road conditions, and route feasibility can change. Do not rely solely on RouteKatha for trip planning decisions where safety, time, or money is at stake.
RouteKatha is available in two tiers, free and pro. Core trip logging features are always free and will not be paywalled. Pro tier features are currently marked "Coming Soon" within the App and are not yet available for purchase. No payment is currently collected for Pro tier access.
We may update the App from time to time to add features, fix bugs, or address security issues. We may also change or discontinue features. We will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes.
RouteKatha, the RouteKatha name, logo, and all associated branding are the property of RouteKatha. You may not use these without our written permission.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RouteKatha shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the App. This includes any loss of data, loss of profits, or any harm resulting from reliance on data shown in the App.
You can stop using RouteKatha at any time. You can delete your account from within the App, which will remove your data from our servers.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, India.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
